In partnership with Lynn University, Watson launched a revolutionary new Bachelor’s degree designed to equip the most promising members of the next generation with the skills, tools, and network they need to solve the toughest social, economic, and environmental challenges of our time.

The degree is a Bachelor’s of Science in Entrepreneurship with a focus in Social Change and is accredited through our partner, Lynn University.**

Watson Scholars who choose the degree track will:

  1. Spend four full semesters at Watson’s campus in Boulder, Colorado completing award winning training and learning from Watson’s network of master course teachers.
  2. As well as 3 summer semesters completing a core curriculum via iTunesU that can be done from anywhere in the world on an iPad.
  3. Finish in as little as 2.5 years with an accredited Bachelor’s degree, accelerated venture, and global network of mentors.

Fall Semester #1

TE 1: Ideation

Transformative Team

teamworkScholars go through the process of building and strengthening a transformative team, completing modules on recruitment strategies, roles and responsibilities chart, functional organization chart and organizational structures, interviewing, optimizing collective intelligence, team alignment, creating a cult-like culture, and organizational values.

TE 4: The Thesis

Scholars complete an in depth, research backed thesis over the course of the semester that analyzes the problem they are solving, pre-existing solutions, and makes the case for their solutions. Through developing the thesis, scholars reach a level of mastery in their fields.

portfolioScholars participate in weekly sessions with leading practitioners, experts, and entrepreneurs while together they answer a series of probing questions about their past, present, and future. Scholars walk away with a greatly expanded network and in depth portfolio of their lives.
